Compliance Technician

Job description Link Contracting is a family run, Maintenance, Planned work, M&E and Compliance provider. We are looking for a highly motivated multi skilled engineer with a background in fire alarm servicing and maintenance Fire extinguisher servicing experience would be desirable. tojoin our award-winning team. Candidates should have good social skills, excellent attention to detail and fantastic customer service ability. Role overview:

• The servicing and installation of fire alarm systems to latest standards – Gent/Advanced/Kentec/Notifier/C-TEC
• Able to use a PDA/ handheld device to complete all work-related documentation accurately.
• Smoke vents service & remedial works.
• Emergency lights service & remedial works
• Access control service & remedial works
• Fire extinguisher servicing – Link Contracting may be willing to put you through the course.
• Intruder alarm service & remedial works
• Small works and installation
• PAT Testing.
• As a multi award-winning company for H&S we expect all our people to be 100% safe at all times and ensure the places and people affected by our work are always safe.
• We require flexibility in working hours as occasionally may occasionally be required to start work early, or work out of normal hours, i.e. night work, weekend working.

Qualifications:

• FIA course, Fire Alarm and Fire Extinguisher or equivalent qualification.
• First Aid
• ECS
• IPAF
• IOSH
